Warranty and General Policies
German Star offers a one-year from date of purchase manufacturer's warranty on new and remanufactured parts. A 30-day unlimited mileage warranty is standard on used parts (unless otherwise stated).
We can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from German Star.
No refunds will be given after thirty days from the receipt of your order.
No returns will be accepted without proper authorization.
Custom ordered items cannot be returned.
Items that you have installed or disassembled cannot be returned.
Damaged items cannot be returned.
Electrical parts cannot be returned if installed or unsealed for any reason.
CD-ROM manuals cannot be returned if unsealed for any reason.
Shipping costs can only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error or a defect (domestic orders only).
Products that are returned for credit may be subject to a restocking fee.
Some of our products have core charges associated with them. This charge is refunded when we receive your original part in rebuildable condition. Upon receipt of the item you have ordered, return your original part in the packaging that came with the replacement part. Upon receipt of your core in the original packaging, the core charge will be promptly credited. Please be aware that your bank may take 5-9 business days to post the credit to your account or credit card. You are responsible for shipping costs.
